Community leaders in West Allis want to see changes to a new police policy.
The ICE Out West Allis Coalition was at the police department yesterday, calling for revisions to the policy that allows local police to assist ICE with arrests without a judicial warrant.
West Allis Rep. Angelito Tenorio told reporters the warrant is critical to making sure local police aren’t doing ICE’s work on inaccurate information.
The West Allis Police and Fire Commission just approved the policy last week.
