The deadline to nominate local educators in Sheboygan County for an annual award is fast approaching.
The Sheboygan County Chamber of Commerce is reminding the public that the nomination period for the 2026 Workforce Development Golden Apple Education Awards will close a week from today, on July 3rd at 5:00 p.m.
Each year at the Workforce Development Symposium, the Chamber awards one educator and one business for their work and the impact they’ve made on local students.
To be eligible for a nomination for the educator award, an individual must be employed by a school district in Sheboygan County and work with K-12 students.
Eligible businesses or organizations must be members of the Sheboygan County Chamber of Commerce whose actions, programs, or initiatives benefit local students. Nominations can be made online by filling out a brief questionnaire regarding the nominee.
A link to the nomination form can be found by visiting the Sheboygan County Chamber of Commerce Facebook page.
Nominees and award winners will then be recognized at the Workforce Development Symposium at Pine Hills Country Club on September 16th.
