A trial for a Calumet County homicide has been set.
23-year-old Ethan Graverson was back in court yesterday for a status conference.
His attorney, Timothy Hogan, asked Judge Jeffery Froehlich for a four-day trial, while District Attorney Nathan Haberman asked for only a three-day trial.
Judge Froehlich approved the four-day trial to start in early November. Graverson will return to court on October 20th for a status conference.
The Hilbert man was arrested in November last year after he shot and killed his father when they got into a verbal altercation.
After the shooting, he allegedly put the gun down, called the police, and waited outside.
He faces a charge of 1st-degree intentional homicide with a domestic abuse enhancer.
He remains in the Calumet County Jail on a $1 million cash bail.
