The Humane Society of Sheboygan County is seeking a long list of volunteers.
The Humane Society has announced that applications are now open for all volunteering opportunities that they offer.
While help across all fronts is appreciated, the Humane Society has also outlined a few specific areas where they need the most assistance.
These include dog kennel cleaning volunteers, who are needed daily between 8:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m.
Shelter upkeep volunteers are another area of need, with a wide variety of two-hour shifts needed every day of the week.
The final volunteering opportunity most needed is PetSmart caregivers, which has availability on Mondays and Fridays from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
On these various shifts, the Humane Society noted, “These approximately 2-hour shifts are scheduled further in advance than most in-shelter volunteer opportunities. If you’re looking for a predictable, ongoing volunteer commitment each week, this could be the perfect fit.”
Those interested in offering their time can apply online by visiting adpotsheboygancounty.org/volunteer, while a full breakdown of shifts is available on the Humane Society of Sheboygan County Facebook page.
