A Campbellsport man has been charged in a fatal Fond du Lac County crash.
21-year-old Dakota Krueger is facing charges of Homicide by Intoxicated Use of a Vehicle and two counts of OWI Causing Injury for the incident at the intersection of Highway V and Mill Pond Road in the Town of Auburn.
The Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office says Krueger was behind the wheel of the vehicle that was traveling south on Mill Pond Road just before 8:00 Sunday morning, and failed to yield the right of way to a vehicle traveling north on Highway V.
Krueger sustained minor injuries, as did his passenger, but a 68-year-old Kewaskum woman in the other vehicle died before she could be taken to a local hospital.
A 16-year-old girl in the second vehicle also sustained minor injuries.
Krueger is being held on a $100,000 cash bond and is due for a preliminary hearing on July 27th.
