After a successful showing the last two years, law enforcement agencies in Sheboygan County are already planning for a new tradition next year.
The Sheboygan County Human Trafficking Task Force and the Sheboygan Police Department are already hard at work for the 2027 Sheboygan County Sensitive Crimes Symposium.
The Symposium is set to take place on May 20th and is expected to be the largest event to date.
As organizers plan the event, individuals working in victim services or law enforcement who are interested in presenting at the growing event are encouraged to reach out.
In its first two years of existence, the Sensitive Crimes Symposium has served as a platform for professionals to share their expertise and connect with others to create a more informed and prepared local environment.
Topics to be discussed will include, but are not limited to, sexual assault, sex trafficking, domestic abuse, and victim-centered approaches to law enforcement.
Those interested in presenting are asked to reach out via email at sheboygancrimessymposium@gmail.com.
