Ozaukee County is going to look into why housing costs are outpacing wage increases.
The county board voted this month to conduct a study on the topic that’s expected to be completed by the end of the year.
Leaders explained they want to learn more about the trend that’s pushing people away from communities in the county, including Cedarburg.
The city recently completed its own study and is using the findings to come up with development plans for the future.
