Associated Bank has begun its annual Day of Service, with several local organizations getting the focus.
More than 50 bank employees across the Lakeshore region are participating by volunteering at Hope House of Manitowoc County, Nourish Farms in Sheboygan Falls, Meals on Wheels in Sheboygan and Sturgeon Bay, the Door County YMCA, and the Aging and Disability Resource Center of Door County.
Additionally, Associated Bank has issued a pair of $700 grants.
The first went to the Lakeshore Community Action Program, commonly referred to as Lakeshore CAP, to help purchase food and personal care items for people experiencing homelessness and low-income individuals in the area.
The second was given to Bookworm Gardens in Sheboygan, where volunteers will help clear and prepare for a new History Walk Tour in partnership with the Wisconsin Historical Society.
Over 2,600 Associated Bank employees will be participating in the Day of Service across Wisconsin, Illinois, and Minnesota, and in parts of Missouri, Nebraska, and Western Iowa.
