The City of Sheboygan has been recognized as a top spot around the Great Lakes for retirees.
Casey Bradley, Sheboygan’s City Administrator, has announced that the City has been named one of the top ten retirement destinations across the Great Lakes by WorldAtlas.com.
The rankings listed many great reasons why Sheboygan stands out for retirees, but specifically mentioned Uptown Social, the City’s hub for senior programming, which fosters “connection, engagement, and healthy aging.”
City Administrator Bradley noted, “This recognition reflects the investments our community has made in accessible recreation, inclusive programming, and high-quality services that help residents of all ages thrive.”
Mayor Ryan Sorenson added, “Sheboygan has always been a place where people look out for one another, and this recognition shows how deeply that sense of community spirit is felt.”
The City closed by reiterating that Sheboygan staff continues to invest in public amenities, active transportation, parks, housing options, and social programs that contribute to its high quality of life.
