Wisconsin Dance Theater has announced the return of “A Hero’s Homecoming” to tour across Wisconsin for their 2026 statewide tour, including a stop in Manitowoc.
This play is about the story of American Veterans returning home after World War II and combines professional ballet, theatrical storytelling, and opera music to convey this story to the audience.
After amazing feedback from last year’s performance and a stellar debut season, this show is expanding to tour more Wisconsin communities, including Manitowoc.
A new addition this year will be live music during the show’s intermission, performed by local Wisconsin musicians.
To honor our veterans and preserve historical monuments, Wisconsin Dance Theatre partnered with the Wisconsin Maritime Museum and will be donating a portion of the ticket proceeds to help preserve the museum’s World War II submarine.
Along with that, veterans will receive 40% off tickets, and groups of 10 or more receive 10% off.
