Neshotah Beach visitors will have another way to relax this summer.
Last week, the city council approved a lease agreement with Rosanna Cabanas for the rental of beach tents.
Rentals became available starting last Friday (June 19th) and can be used until September 1st.
City Manager Kyle Kordell says it’s a pilot program with no cost to the city while trying to add new amenities to the beach.
It’s also a way for the city to allow the private sector to be a part of the beach.
The tents will be located near parking lots 1 and 2 at Neshotah Beach.
It will cost $100 to lease one of the beach tents, and they can be taken anywhere on the sand.
Rosanna’s Cabanas will be open Thursday through Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
