Just over five years after a fatal shooting at the restaurant inside the Onieda Casino in Green Bay, there has been another shooting at the casino.
Ashwaubenon Public Safety was called to 2020 Airport Drive just before 2:00 Saturday morning on a report of a shooting.
They arrived to find a man with a gunshot wound in his back.
The suspect, who was said to be a family member of the victim, had fled the scene, but was quickly located by Brown County Sheriff’s Deputies on Highway 172 near Highway GV.
The yet unidentified suspect was taken into custody on charges of Attempted 1st Degree Intentional Homicide, Knowingly Violating a Domestic Abuse Injunction, and Possession of a Firearm While Intoxicated.
The investigation is still in its early stages, so additional charges may be filed.
