The Darlington Police Chief is finding himself on the wrong side of the law.
Szvon Conway was arrested Friday in Monroe for allegedly driving under the influence and crashing his vehicle into a retaining wall, driving away from the scene afterwards.
Officers later arrested him for first-offense OWI, not telling law enforcement about the accident, and other charges.
Investigators explained Conway was hurt in the crash, and his airbag didn’t deploy.
His car also sustained some serious damage in the crash.
