A Manitowoc family is asking for help finding their missing dog.
Sammy was last seen last week Thursday, near Timeout on Manitowoc’s north side.
She is a darker colored terrier mix and was wearing a red and white collar.
She is chipped, but her mom Cheyenne, tells us no one has spotted her as of yet.
Cheyenne also noted that she has checked in with the Humane Society and the Manitowoc Police Department to no avail.
In her plea to the public, Cheyene said, “I’m usually very private but to be brutally honest…I had a very serious stroke that took movement from my left side. Thankfully, I am in a rehab center. I need to focus to get movement back and return back to my family. They’ve already lost their Dad & grandfather, and it’s hard to focus until I know Sammy is safe and back home. PLEASE HELP US BRING HER HOME.”
She also noted that Sammy likes to hide, so she may be taking shelter in someone’s backyard.
Anyone who sees Sammy is encouraged to reach out to Cheyene on Facebook, or you can call her at 920-901-6244.
