A Kiel native is embarking on a three-day endurance challenge to raise awareness about veteran wellness.
Brady Thomas is doing the challenge through Project 200, which supports connection and long-term health, both mentally and physically, for veterans.
From July 9th to 11th, Thomas will run a marathon every day and bike over 50 miles as part of the challenge.
He will begin in La Crosse and finish at the Wisconsin Maritime Museum.
The goal is to raise $25,000 for ValorFit, a nonprofit that partners with gyms and fitness centers across the country to provide veterans with free access to fitness programs, gym memberships, and CrossFit classes.
Thomas tells SeehaferNews.com that as a veteran and physical education teacher, the mission means a lot to him.
He says with Valorfit, “we can keep offering support and opportunities that help veterans for years to come.”
