Manitowoc County home prices are back on the rise.
The Wisconsin Realtors Association has released its May Home Sales report, in which it was noted that the median price for a home sold locally was $226,500, which is $8,500 more than in April.
That rate is also $4,000 more than in May of 2025, and $11,500 higher than two years prior.
The 82 homes sold in May were only one more than in April, but 20 fewer than last May, and 13 fewer than in 2024.
For comparison, Sheboygan County’s median price for the 99 homes sold in May was $291,000, just $1,000 higher than last year.
The statewide price also went up, with the median price of $352,500 being $12,500 higher than last month and $32,500 more than last year.
It was a good month for home sellers, however, as just shy of 1,000 more homes were sold compared to April, with the 6,553 being very close to May 2025’s sales numbers.
