The 2026 WIAA State Baseball Tournament is in the books, and four teams are still celebrating.
Columbus Catholic used a 5-run third inning on Neuroscience Group Field in Grand Chute to take down Potosi/Cassville 8-4 in the Division 4 title game.
Tyler Hargraves may have only had one hit for the Dons, but he made it count, driving home three runs with a triple down the rightfield line.
The Division 3 championship was won by Cedar Grove-Belgium, which outlasted Dodgeville 13-9.
Every Rocket batter except for one contributed with at least one hit, with Seth Race driving home 3 runs with his lone hit, which was also a triple to right field.
In Division 2, Pewaukee was able to hold off a late rally by Kenosha St. Joseph Catholic to earn a 5-4 win.
The Pirates carried a 5-2 lead into the 7th inning and had the Lancers down to their final out, but that lead was threatened after a walk, and a Zach Rizzo home run cut the lead to 1.
The next batter would fly out to centerfield, securing the championship for Pewaukee.
In Division 1, Madison Memorial took down Muskego in the rained-out makeup semifinal, but fell to Kaukauna in the title game 11-5.
The top of the order did most of the damage for the Galloping Ghosts, with Bron Schaefer and Kaden Kress each earning 3 RBI, and Brayden Jenkins adding a pair.
This win brought a baseball title to Kaukauna for the first time in 73 years.
