The ongoing work on Interstate 43 in Sheboygan County is continuing to affect traffic.
The Wisconsin Department of Transportation is reminding motorists that this week’s work will cause closures to the on and off ramps on I-43 at County Road V.
Today (June 16th), the northbound on and off ramps at V will be closed until 8:00 p.m.
Then, the southbound on and off ramps at V will be closed, beginning at 5:00 a.m. tomorrow (June 17th) and reopening at 8:00 p.m. Thursday.
This week, additional work to be done includes right-of-way fence removal and installation, milling and paving operations, and guardrail installation and pavement marking.
This ongoing work is part of a large-scale rehabilitation project that began back in March.
Currently, work on I-43 in Sheboygan County is expected to be completed in November.
