Sheboygan residents are wondering if they will be getting a Chick-fil-A.
Last week, Mayor Ryan Sorenson took to social media to alert the public that Chick-fil-A had job openings listed online for a restaurant located in Sheboygan.
These job listings included openings for a cashier, culinary assistant, crew associate, and entry-level cook.
Mayor Sorenson noted, “It appears Chick-fil-A is hiring jobs for a Sheboygan location. However, we have not heard from them or know of any plans at this point.”
Speculations about the possibilities have been raised by many, including District 4 Alder Alanza Grawien, who noted that if Chick-fil-A has not applied for a conditional use permit, the City would not know why there would be job postings.
Alder Grawien also speculates the postings may be linked to a potential food truck for the Sheboygan County Fair this summer, but as of now, that remains to be nothing more than speculation.
SeehaferNews.com has reached out to Mayor Sorenson for further comment on the possibility of a Chick-fil-A coming to Sheboygan.
