A Mishicot man facing drug and weapons charges is set to appear in court.
49-year-old Jeffrey Nicol will be in front of Judge Robert Dewayne today (June 15th) to make an adjourned initial appearance at 1:30 p.m. Nicol has been charged with Possession of THC and Psilocybin, both as second offenses, and Carrying a Concealed Weapon.
The 49-year-old was originally set to make his initial appearance on June 8th, but that hearing was delayed as Nicol was still without a lawyer.
Nicol was arrested on June 5th, following a traffic stop in Two Rivers.
During that traffic stop, with the help of K9 Dante, Two Rivers police officers uncovered 21.75 grams of THC and 11.25 grams of psilocybin mushrooms.
A set of brass knuckles was also found in the vehicle, which prompted his concealed weapon charge.
Nicol has a lengthy criminal history with prior convictions across numerous counties for charges including Possession of Methamphetamine with the Intent to Deliver, Retail Theft, and multiple OWIs.
