A man in Waukesha is awaiting sentencing after being found guilty of killing his neighbor.
Kevin Lychwick was convicted yesterday of first-degree intentional homicide in the death of Carlos Maldonado, whose body was found badly decomposed in 2024.
The body was discovered behind the apartment complex where Lychwick and Maldonado lived, and authorities believed it had been there for roughly six months.
Lychwick faces a mandatory life sentence, and a sentencing hearing for the 63-year-old has been scheduled for August.
