Young volleyball players will have a special opportunity this summer to learn from a professional athlete with local roots.
The Two Rivers Volleyball program is welcoming Meg Wolowicz, a graduate of Lincoln High School who currently plays professional volleyball overseas, to lead a two-day youth volleyball clinic.
The clinic is open to students entering 6th through 8th grade next school year.
The event will take place on Monday, June 15, and Tuesday, June 16, from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at LB Clarke Middle School.
Participants will have the chance to develop their volleyball skills while receiving instruction from an athlete who has competed at the highest levels of the sport.
The clinic is designed to provide young players with a unique learning experience while inspiring the next generation of local athletes.
Wolowicz’s return to the area gives aspiring volleyball players an opportunity to connect with someone who once competed in the same local gyms before advancing to the professional level.
Families interested in registering or learning more about the clinic are encouraged to contact Two Rivers varsity volleyball coach Jeremy Otte at jeremy.otte@trschools.k12.wi.us.
