A court appearance for the Manitowoc man accused of sexual assault, which resulted in multiple pregnancies, has been delayed.
37-year-old Randy Kue was in court yesterday (June 11th) for what was intended to be his preliminary hearing as he faces charges of First-Degree Sexual Assault/Great Bodily Harm, Second-Degree Sexual Assault with the Use of Force, Third-Degree Sexual Assault, and three counts of Child Abuse-Intentionally Causing Harm.
At yesterday’s hearing, it was revealed that Kue is still without a lawyer as legal counsel has yet to be appointed to him through the Public Defenders program.
For this reason, the preliminary hearing was adjourned.
The 37-year-old was arrested last month after one of the victims alleged that she was physically and sexually assaulted daily for a significant amount of time by Kue.
She went on to tell authorities that two of these sexual assaults resulted in unintended pregnancies.
Court records show that the first instance of the alleged sexual abuse took place back in 2019.
Kue will now be back in court on Thursday (June 18th) for his preliminary hearing in front of Judge Jerilyn Dietz.
