One of Sheboygan’s busiest parks is nearly set for some substantial improvements.
The City’s Public Works Committee has unanimously approved a contract for pavement repairs to be made to the access road at Evergreen Park, which currently has portions with damaged or failing pavement.
The proposed contract would be awarded to Northeast Asphalt, Inc. and cost the City $194,917, with funding for the project previously included in Sheboygan’s 2026 Capital Projects Fund.
With the unanimous approval from the Public Works Committee, the Sheboygan Common Council is expected to pass the resolution in the near future.
After that, construction on the Evergreen Park access road is expected to begin on September 21st later this year and be completed by no later than October 9th.
