A Fond du Lac child is being treated for minor injuries after being struck by a vehicle yesterday (June 10th).
NBC26 reports that the Fond du Lac Police Department was called to the intersection of Scott and Doty Streets after learning of the collision.
The child was said to be crossing the street on a scooter with the flashing beacons activated when they were hit.
It appears as though there were two vehicles at the intersection, both traveling east on Scott Street.
The first vehicle turned onto Doty Street, and the second vehicle accelerated, not seeing the child.
The victim suffered only minor injuries, and it is not clear if any charges are being filed.
