An investigation is underway after a gun was fired on the west side of Green Bay.
The Green Bay Police Department was called to the 1500 block of Velp Avenue at 3:10 Tuesday afternoon on a report of two vehicles fleeing the area after shots were fired.
Witnesses reported two people arrived in a silver SUV, and one of them got out and entered a purple sedan.
Moments later, shots were fired, and both vehicles fled. Investigators say they know who pulled the trigger, but they have not been apprehended at last word.
The silver SUV was located in another jurisdiction shortly after the incident, but police are still looking for the purple sedan and both drivers.
No injuries were reported as police continue to investigate.
