
Children in the Sheboygan area can eat for free this summer.
The Sheboygan Area School District has announced that it will be offering free breakfast and lunch at select summer schools in June and July.
Meals are available to any child 18 years old or younger, and no registration or identification is needed to participate.
Meals will be offered at Cooper, Grant, Jackson, James Madison, Jefferson, Longfellow, Pigeon River, Sheridan, and Wilson Elementary Schools, along with Horace Mann Middle School and North and South High Schools.
Meal services will run Monday through Thursday from June 15th until July 30th; however, no meals will be offered between July 6th and July 9th.
Breakfast will be served at the elementary and middle schools from 7:45 a.m. to 8:15 a.m. and 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at North and South.
Lunch will then follow from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the high schools and 11:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. at all other locations.
