One of the most iconic Midwest racing traditions is set to return this week.
The Fox River Racing Club will be hosting night one of the 55th annual Red, White & Blue State Championship Series tomorrow (June 11th) at the Wisconsin International Speedway in Kaukauna.
Broken up into three race nights, night one will be the Red Race, followed by the White Race on July 9th, and the Blue Race on August 20th.
In its over half-century history, the Red, White & Blue State Championship Series has grown into one of the most iconic traditions in Wisconsin racing, with legends like Dick Trickle and Alan Kulwicki sharpening their skills in Kaukauna.
The Red Race will have a $3,500 purse on the line while running 51 laps in honor of the recently passed NASCAR Champion, Kyle Busch.
On all three race nights, WIR will be donating $1 from every can of Budweiser sold to Folds of Honor Wisconsin, supporting families of fallen service members.
Tickets to tomorrow’s race night will cost $15 per person, while those ages 12 and younger get in free.
Gates open at 5:00 p.m., qualifying starts at 5:30 p.m., and the green flag will wave at 6:30 p.m.
