A Green Bay healthcare worker is accused of sexually assaulting a mentally deficient patient at a group home.
26-year-old Elias Skenandore has been arrested on four counts of 2nd Degree Sexual Assault by an Employee of an Entity, after it was learned he had engaged in sexual activity with a patient with the mental capacity of a 12-year-old.
The victim’s actual age was not revealed. She reported the interactions to authorities earlier this month, saying it happened multiple times.
Skenandore allegedly admitted to having sex with the woman, but told investigators that the interaction was “consensual” and that he “did not force” himself on her.
Skenandore is being held on a $150,000 cash bond and appeared for his initial appearance yesterday.
If convicted on all four charges, Skenandore could be sentenced to as many as 160 years in prison and be ordered to pay up to $400,000 in fines.
