Beverly A. Schmidt, age 90, of Manitowoc, passed away on Sunday, June 7, 2026 at her residence with her daughters by her side.
Beverly was born on November 16, 1935 to the late Chester and Lorraine (Mangin) Eiles. On March 3, 1956 she married Paul R. Schmidt at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Maple Grove. He preceded her in death on November 29, 2024. Beverly worked at Mirro for many years until her retirement. She enjoyed playing family bingo and spending time up North.
Beverly is survived by her children: Patricia Murray, Diane (Gary) Groelle, and Barbara Schmidt; son-in-law: Michael Staudt; grandchildren: Rosanne (Jason) Bonlander, Travis (Amanda) Groelle, Shelby (Dustin) Hujet, Jennifer Smith, Ashley (special friend Donovan) Groelle, and Holley Melichar; great grandchildren: Kaylea, Emma, McKenna, Levi, Finley, and Kashton; and sister-in-law: Judy Eiles; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends further survive. She is preceded in death by her husband: Paul Schmidt; daughter: Linda Staudt; parents: Chester and Lorraine Eiles; and brothers and sisters: Leroy Eiles, Cyril Eiles, and JoAnn Copesky.
A Funeral service to celebrate Beverly’s life will be held on Friday, June 12, 2026 at 12:00 pm at St. Francis of Assisi – Waldo Site. Relatives and friends may greet the family on Friday from 10:00am until the time of service at 12:00pm. Beverly will be laid to rest at Knollwood Memorial Park.
