Residents in Two Rivers will have the chance to dispose of their unwanted electronics today (June 9th).
Two Rivers Utilities will be holding its electronics recycling event today from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at 1415 Lake Street.
Throughout the day, residents can drop off items such as cell phones, dishwashers, microwaves, freezers or refrigerators, and much more for no cost.
However, recycling items such as incandescent, fluorescent, and LED bulbs, batteries, plasma TV’s, and other electronics will come with a minor disposal fee.
Those who do participate are asked to drive up, watch for signs, and to stay in their vehicles to ensure their safety and to make sure the event runs smoothly.
TRU also notes that Two Rivers residents who are not TRU customers are still eligible to participate in the recycling event.
