For the first time in school history, the Reedsville baseball team is headed to the WIAA State baseball tournament.
The Panthers defeated the Barneveld Golden Eagles by a score of 6-5 in a WIAA Division Four sectional final played Tuesday afternoon in Pecatonica.
Reedsville defeated Green Lake/Princeton in the semifinals 10 to 6 earlier in the day to advance to the sectional final and extend its winning streak to six games.
They’ll take an 18-6 record to state and will play a state semifinal next Tuesday morning (June 16th) at Neuroscience Group Field at Fox Cities Stadium in Grand Chute against an opponent and time to be determined.
