The Pepin County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the death of a man whose body was found Saturday morning.
54-year-old Christian Bates was a supervisor with Nelson Telephone Cooperative and was reported as missing when he failed to return from a worksite in Durand Township.
His body was later located at the worksite.
There has been no word on Bates’ cause of death.
