A plea deal has been reached for a Sheboygan man charged with sexual assault.
30-year-old Terrell Marcus Poe was originally facing charges of First-Degree Sexual Assault with the Use of a Dangerous Weapon, Battery or Threat to a Law Enforcement Officer, Carrying a Concealed Knife, and Resisting or Obstructing an Officer in Marathon County.
However, a plea deal was reached last week, which had the sexual assault, carrying a concealed knife, and resisting charges thrown out.
Instead, Poe was convicted of Solicitation of Prostitutes, Battery or Threat to a Law Enforcement, and Retail Theft.
At that same hearing last week, the 30-year-old was ordered to spend three years behind bars, followed by three years on extended supervision.
This comes after Poe was originally accused of sexual assault while threatening the victim with a knife.
Additional terms of Poe’s sentence include undergoing anger management courses and a psychosexual evaluation.
