The City of Sheboygan is reminding area motorists of an extended road closure.
The closure of Erie Avenue between North Taylor Drive and North 19th Street is now in place and will stay in effect for a number of months.
While Erie Avenue will be closed to through traffic, access to residences in the project area will be maintained throughout the construction work.
During the project, the intersection of Erie Avenue, North 25th Street, and Wilgus Road will be closed for complete reconstruction between July 6th and August 3rd.
Work is currently expected to be completed sometime in October, however, all work and related traffic impacts are weather-dependent and may be subject to change.
