Yet another police officer in Sheboygan has been commended for their work.
This past week, the Sheboygan County Coordinated Community Response Team presented Officer Anthony Hamilton of the Sheboygan Police Department with a Community Impact Award.
This recognition comes after a recent investigation led by Hamilton in a high-risk domestic violence case.
Officer Hamilton’s dedication and professionalism through the investigative process included thorough follow-up, attention to detail, and commitment to ensuring the victim’s safety.
The department continued to say, “Investigating all cases, but especially sensitive crimes such as DV, requires patience, compassion, and a victim-centered approach. Officer Hamilton worked diligently to support the victim, connect them with available resources, and pursue a comprehensive investigation that prioritized both accountability and safety.”
Officer Hamilton was the second member of the Sheboygan Police Department honored by the Coordinated Community Response Team, as Officer Dylan Hill was also presented a Community Impact Award for his work last week as well.
