Felician Village in Manitowoc has announced developments in a new assisted living unit, The Commons at Felician Village.
The new facility on the campus at 1635 South 21st Street in Manitowoc will be a state-licensed Community-Based Residential Facility with a 20-bed assisted living unit.
The expansion will include a new movie theater and art studio and will be a transformation of the former unit, Next Step Rehabilitation.
While speaking about the new unit, President and CEO Luke Schubert says, “We are seeing a clear progression in how care is delivered, with greater emphasis on assisted living options that promote independence and quality of life.”
While this renovation does interfere with the existing short-term rehabilitation unit, Felician Village says that this service will still be available at St. Mary’s Nursing Home.
