Businesses in Two Rivers are getting some reprieve after last month’s storms.
The city council approved a resolution temporarily waiving building permit fees for eligible storm-related repairs through June 30th.
The waiver also applies to qualifying permits issued after May 17th.
City officials say they can’t cover the cost of private property damage, but they can help reduce some repair expenses and encourage safe, code-compliant completion of repairs.
