An Oshkosh man has been convicted in a child sexual abuse material case.
53-year-old Shawn Patrick Black was in front of Winnebago County Judge Bryan Keberlein yesterday (June 1st), where he was found guilty due to no contest pleas on two counts of Possession of Child Pornography, while three more were dismissed but read into the record.
Black was arrested in February after the Oshkosh Police Department received a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
Black’s laptop was said to contain three videos depicting sexual abuse of children, and Black admitted there would “probably be more than one thousand images and videos of child pornography on the laptop.”
He is due for sentencing on June 15th.
