A Manitowoc man has been sentenced for his 4th and 5th OWI.
26-year-old Damian Quiroz-Gallegos was found guilty due to no contest pleas on both charges and was ordered by Judge Mark Rohrer to spend one year in prison on the 4th OWI, and two years in prison on the 5th OWI.
The second prison sentence will still run concurrently with the first, meaning he will spend two years in prison, followed by a total of four years on extended supervision.
Quiroz-Gallegos was arrested for his 4th offense in January 2022 and for his fifth in August of 2025.
In the second case, he was also arrested on charges of Operating While Revoked, Failure to Install Ignition Interlock Device, and three counts of Felony Bail Jumping, all of which were dismissed but read into the record.
In a separate case, he also had a charge of Possession of Open Intoxicants in a Motor Vehicle dismissed but read in.
As a part of his sentencing, Quiroz-Gallegos was ordered to maintain absolute sobriety, as well as any combination of full-time employment, schooling, or work search.
