A Sheboygan County-based credit union is helping local students as they pursue higher education.
Kohler Credit Union has announced the recipients of its Here for Life Scholarships, worth $60,000.
In total, six students from across Manitowoc and Sheboygan Counties will each receive $10,000 in installments of $2,500.
Manitowoc County’s sole recipient was Roncalli senior Dominic Thiele.
Meanwhile, Sheboygan Falls High School had two scholarship recipients, including Alina Muckerheide and Makenzie Schroeder.
Rounding out the students honored with the Here for Life Scholarships were Brennan Nickel of Plymouth, Elyse Boeldt from Sheboygan North, and Sheboygan Christian’s Sofia Rodriguez.
On the qualities of each and every one of these six students showed to receive this honor, Kohler Credit Union said, “This year’s recipients exemplify the values of integrity, responsibility, and community involvement through their dedication to school activities, volunteerism, and future career aspirations.
