The second of Manitowoc’s Big Blue Cranes will be leaving tomorrow.
Mayor Justin Nickels stated on his Facebook page that the second crane will depart around 7:00 a.m. tomorrow.
It is headed to Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam on the island of Oahu, Hawaii.
The big blue cranes have been a major presence in Manitowoc, affectionately known as the city’s “skyscrapers.”
The first crane, or Crane 70, left on November 18th last year and was taken to a base in Washington.
