A Sheboygan-based nonprofit is inviting local businesses and organizations to raise awareness and support for autism service dogs.
Pawsitism Inc. has announced the launch of the “Goats Around Town” campaign, which invites organizations to create social media content featuring goats, autism service dogs, local businesses, and recognizable locations in Sheboygan County, all while raising awareness and support.
Businesses that do participate will have the chance to host visits from goats and in-training service dogs for photo opportunities, leading up to the 8th annual Goga and Brew fundraiser on August 16th at the Tributary Beer Garden in Kiwanis Park.
The fundraising event will, of course, feature goat yoga, along with live music, raffles, service dog meet-and-greets, and much more.
Rebekah Hintzman, Founder and Vice President of Pawsitism Inc., said, “This campaign is about community connection. We wanted to create something fun and interactive that highlights local businesses while also helping support the children and families our service dogs work with every day.”
Those in the community looking to take part in or sponsor the Goats Around Town campaign are encouraged to contact Hintzman via email at ruffacademywi@gmail.com.
