An official commemorative T-shirt for a famous Two Rivers quartet has been created.
It’s part of the Clipper City Chordsmen celebrating the 75th anniversary of the Schmitt Brothers becoming international barbershop champions in 1951.
The T-shirt features the Schmitt Brothers Diamond Jubilee logo on the front and back and is available for pre-order until June 20th.
The Clipper City Chordsmen will host Harmony Lives on the Schmitt Brothers Stage on Saturday, July 18th, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in Two Rivers Central Park.
Shirts cost $20 with a portion of the proceeds going to the Schmitt Family Scholarship Program.
They will also be available for pickup at 2:00 p.m. on the 18th at the J.E. Hamilton Community House and after the event at Montana Rae’s Pub.
Harmony on the Schmitt Brothers Stage will feature multiple singing groups, including the Midwest Vocal Express, Forward Harmony, and Coulee Classic quartet, among others.
The Schmitt Brothers performed on major stages for 35 years and entertained audiences, including Ed Sullivan, Arthur Godfrey, and Lawrence Welk.
