An area state representative will be honored as a Legislator of the Year.
Rep. Paul Tittl of Manitowoc will get the award during the Manitowoc County Fish and Game Protection Association meeting at the Viking Bow and Gun Club in Valders tonight (May 27th) at 7:00 p.m.
The Wisconsin Waterfowl Association will present the award after Rep. Tittl was called back to Madison to vote on a bill, the first time he was supposed to get the award.
The Manitowoc Republican is only the second legislator in the Wisconsin Waterfowl Association’s history to be a legislator of the year.
VL Outdoor Media Representative Roger Vander says Rep. Tittl spent many hours in committee meetings listening to everyone who had an interest in or against a sandhill hunting season.
They also credit the state representative for being a member of the Manitowoc County Fish and Game Protection Association.
