There are two meetings on the docket today (May 27th) in the City of Sheboygan.
Up first will be the Senior Activity Center Commission meeting at 8:00 a.m. at Uptown Social.
The Commission will discuss usage stats thus far in 2026, the senior center’s operating hours, and its code of conduct.
Then, at 4:30 p.m., the Licensing, Hearings, and Public Safety Committee will convene in the third-floor conference room at City Hall.
They will first approve various alcohol and tobacco licenses before entering into a discussion on the potential revocation of other licenses across the city.
They will then talk about entering an agreement with SASD to provide school resource officers from the Sheboygan Police Department.
Up next will be discussions about amending the Municipal Code relating to smoking regulations and the process of deeming a dog dangerous.
To close out the evening, a Quasi-Judicial hearing and a closed session discussion will take place to determine if Alcohol Beverage License Number 3475, for El Rancho Bar and Grill, will be suspended or revoked after previous noncompliance with law enforcement.
