Two Rivers residents will be responsible for their own storm cleanup at the end of this week.
The city says crews have continued cleaning up after recent severe weather, but after this Friday morning (May 29th), any debris remaining on the side of the road will become the property owner’s responsibility.
Two Rivers officials say Public Works crews have worked long hours to help residents with storm cleanup and restore neighborhoods as quickly as possible.
They will make one final pass through neighborhoods starting today to collect storm-related brush and tree debris.
40 volunteers were also thanked for helping clean up Walsh Field and Neshotah Park.
In just over an hour, foam insulation, sticks, and trash were picked up, with a lot of help coming from children.
The city says they appreciate the patience, cooperation, and community spirit shown throughout the recovery process, as well as the hard work and dedication of city crews.
