Authorities are investigating the death of a Kenosha County inmate.
The 49-year-old was found unresponsive in the medical ward on Sunday, and despite efforts by first responders, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Kenosha County Sheriff’s Office policy requires an outside agency to investigate the death, so the Racine County Sheriff’s Office will be looking into the incident.
Officials didn’t mention anything about the death being suspicious, but details will be released as more information becomes available.
