Briess Malt and Ingredients has named four new falcon chicks from their grain elevator box.
Liberty, Taco, Hundo, and Roger were the names selected out of the 327 submitted.
Liberty is for the 250th anniversary of the United States, while Hundo is in observance of their 100th falcon chick hatched this season.
Roger commemorates Briess’ fourth-generation owner, Roger Briess, and Taco is just fun because “everyone loves tacos.”
Four people who submitted names will receive a custom Falcon mug featuring the chick they named and a bag of Briess’ famous dark chocolate malted milk balls.
Briess has had a falcon box on top of their grain elevator since the 1990s.
It was put up there through the Wisconsin Peregrine Falcon Recovery Program.
