The Roncalli/Two Rivers girls’ soccer team had a major test last night, as they welcomed the unbeaten Kiel Raiders to Roncalli High School.
While the Jet gave it their best effort, they were no match for the #1 Division 3 team in the state, as they fell 8-0.
The Raiders’ offensive attack was once again led by the team’s senior superstar, Taavi Saeger, who added another hat trick to her impressive career stats.
Also scoring for the Raiders were Jasmine Bink, who did so twice, as well as Harper Walsdorf, Eve Davilla, and Deanna Schwaller.
With the win, the Raiders improved to 17-0-1, but they have a big challenge ahead.
They will be traveling to Sheboygan Falls next Tuesday (May 26th) to battle a Falcons squad with only 2 blemishes on the season, including a 2-1 loss to Kiel.
The Jets, meanwhile, fall to 4-8 on the season.
They will host cross-town rival, Manitowoc Lutheran, also next Tuesday.
